Stepping Into Something New,
Even When It Feels Scary!

Welcome back to Fearlessly Debt Free. I’m Lisa-Marie, I want to share a message that’s a little different from our usual conversations about numbers, strategies, and calculators. Today, I want to talk about something far more personal. Something that starts with you.

You showed up here, and that matters. You carved out a few minutes of your busy life to lean in, listen, breathe, and maybe even feel a little shift in your soul. So grab a cup of coffee or take a breath on your lunch break and let this settle in. My hope is that you feel a spark of courage rise up inside you, the kind that nudges you into the next bold move in your life.

Why We Wait

Let’s be honest, we overthink everything. We want the perfect timing, the perfect plan, the perfect confidence, and all the answers before we begin. But growth does not come from perfection. Growth comes from movement. Even when you don’t feel ready.

And I say that with a smile, because for the last season I’ve lived so far outside my comfort zone that I’ve basically taken up permanent residence out there. It’s uncomfortable. It’s nerve-racking. But it’s also where clarity shows up. When you move, clarity comes. When you speak, your voice strengthens. When you try, you learn what excites you.

Most importantly, when you show up as your real, authentic self, the people who are meant to walk with you in this life find you. Sometimes all it takes is twenty seconds of insane courage to open a door you didn’t even know existed.

growth and success

My Big Bold Leap

One of my own leaps this past year was launching my podcast, Big Bold Moves; Abundant Life. I had no idea what I was doing. I didn’t have the perfect setup. I didn’t know how to edit. I didn’t know who I needed on my team. But I had a tug in my heart, so I said yes and began.

And because I began, I’ve met incredible people and had conversations that filled me with joy. I stepped into something brand new and messy, and it’s still evolving. But it never would’ve happened if I waited for ‘perfect’.

The Improv Moment

Just recently, I said yes to an improv workshop. No script. No outline. No notes. Completely the opposite of how I normally prepare myself.

And it was freeing.

It reminded me that sometimes the best growth comes in the moments where you’re required to let go of control. Even saying those words might make you shiver, but it’s true. When you’re fully present, you discover pieces of yourself you forgot were there.

Why This Matters

Because every time you try something new, every time you lean into courage instead of fear, you’re proving something powerful to yourself. And you’re giving others around you permission to do the same.

FEAR is False Evidence AppearingReal. Once you step into action, you often realize the thing you were afraid of wasn’t even real. And when you lean into your passions, your people find you. Your community forms. Your confidence grows. Your life expands.

Let’s Get Practical

Stepping out doesn’t require dramatic change. It starts with small things like:

• Sharing a voice memo
• Writing a simple post
• Saying yes to something that excites you
• Letting your progress be messy instead of perfect
• Talking about the things that light you up
• Celebrating every attempt and every try

Think about the one thing you’ve been putting off, simply because you don’t feel ready. What would happen if you just tried? What if you rip the bandage off and see where it leads?

Your Turn

I’d love to hear from you. What’s the one thing you’re holding back on? Something that keeps tapping on your shoulder? Something that would stretch you, grow you, or maybe even change the direction of your life?

Share it, even anonymously. Your step might inspire someone else who’s watching quietly from the sidelines.

Maybe it’s:
• Launching that side business
• Writing a book you’ve dreamed about
• Going live for the first time
• Reaching out to a potential friend or mentor
• Finally taking a Discovery Call to clean up your finances and get your freedom back

Whatever it is, your courage matters.

Your Challenge This Week

Take one small action toward the thing you’ve been avoiding. Not a big leap, just one small, intentional step. You don’t wait for confidence. You create confidence by moving.

Remember your strengths. Remember your passions. Remember that your voice and your story matter. The world doesn’t need your perfection, it needs your presence.

And while you explore the next brave step in your own personal journey, remember this is the same energy that will change your financial future too. Every bold move shapes a new chapter, whether it’s emotional, personal, creative, or financial.

A Parting Thought

Being authentically you is a gift. You don’t need to be perfect to make an impact. You just need to begin.

Thank you for being here with me today at Fearlessly Debt Free, where making big bold moves creates your abundant life. I’m cheering you on, and I hope you’ll share your next small step with our community.

Until next time, have a beautiful day and keep moving toward the life that’s waiting for you.
