BARBARA SMITH-WHITE
Some conversations just feel like a breath of fresh air… and my time with Barbara Smith-White was exactly that.
Her story is a beautiful reminder that abundance isn’t just about what we have, it’s about how we live, how we give, and how we make others feel along the way.
Defining Abundance
When I asked Barbara what abundance means to her, she shared something so simple and powerful.
It’s having and doing a lot, yes… but more importantly, it’s giving. It’s finding joy in life and fulfillment in helping others.
And as she spoke, it was clear, that’s exactly how she lives.

A Life Rooted in Helping Others
Barbara began as a dancer, starting at just two years old and eventually becoming a principal dancer with the State Ballet of Rhode Island.
From there, she moved into education as a school counselor, guiding students toward solutions and success.
And now, through her Cabi fashion business, she continues that same mission, helping women feel confident, seen, and beautiful.
Different paths… same heart.
A Bold Move into Something New
In what many would call retirement, Barbara made a Big, Bold Move.
She stepped into the world of fashion with Cabi, a company founded by ten fearless women who simply decided to try.
And what I love is that it wasn’t about having all the answers. It was about being willing.
Today, that same company has given over $70 million back to women in need, which aligns perfectly with Barbara’s heart for connection and impact.

Confidence Changes Everything
What Barbara offers goes far beyond clothing.
She creates a space where women can gather, relax, and explore style without pressure.
And in that space, something shifts.
Women try things they never thought they could wear. They see themselves differently. They stand a little taller.
Her message is simple… wear it and own it.
Because the truth is, we are often far harder on ourselves than we should be.
The Full Experience
Barbara has recently added Mary Kay skincare and cosmetics to her offerings, creating a complete look and feel experience.
Because when you feel good in what you’re wearing and how you show up, it changes your energy, your confidence, and how you move through the world.
For Anyone Thinking
“Could I Do That?”
Barbara’s advice is one I hope you hold onto.
Don’t be afraid to try.
You don’t have to be the expert. You just have to be willing to take the first step.
Sometimes the biggest transformations come from simply saying yes to something new.
Final Thoughts

What I loved most about Barbara is her consistency.
From dance, to education, to fashion… she has always chosen to lift others up.
And that, to me, is what living an abundant life truly looks like.
If this inspired you, even just a little… take that next step.
Because your Big, Bold Move might be closer than you think.
